Weld bushings GN 7490 are used on containers, tanks, or hydraulic cylinders for mounting instruments such as fluid fill or drain plugs, breather elements, or fluid sight glasses.

The plain surfaces are machined, with the result that they can be used as sealing surfaces in connection with a suitable sealing element or compound. The significant wall thickness prevents deformation or burn-through during welding.

Type B with flange is used if exact positioning via the bore hole or a low overall height is required.
